Quail Valley Middle School is hosting their 8th Grade Career Day on Friday, February 10, 2017. Exposure to a wide variety of careers prior to high school is a tremendous opportunity for students to explore their options and plan for the future.
One of the highlights of the day is an address by a keynote speaker who can share with the students his/her thoughts on what makes a successful career and how he/she persevered to make it to the top of the field. This gives the opportunity for the students to see that thinking ahead, setting goals and working hard will impact their futures throughout high school and beyond. We have selected Emmy Award-winning television producer Rushion McDonald as our 2017 keynote speaker.
Rushion McDonald will speak from 9:20am to 9:55am to a group of approximately 400 8th grade students from a variety of cultural, ethnic, and socio-economic backgrounds. We thank Mr. McDonald for his commitment to this important opportunity to impact the lives of our students! We are extremely grateful for his time and support! It’s going to be a great day!
